Sunita Kayastha, RN, BSN
Sunita Kayastha has dedicated more than three decades to caring for seniors and their families. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The Catholic University of America and is a registered nurse — a combination that has shaped her approach as Partner and Director of Care since she joined Caring Companion in 1991, one that balances nursing expertise with sound, sustainable business practices across the company's network of licensed homes throughout Silver Spring, Maryland. Earlier in her career, she worked in the emergency room and ICU at Washington Adventist Hospital, experience that continues to inform her calm, decisive approach to care today.
Sunita's nursing background informs every aspect of how Caring Companion approaches senior care — from daily wellness monitoring to coordinating with families and care providers during life's most difficult transitions. Families and referring attorneys alike know her for her compassionate, hands-on approach: she personally meets with prospective residents and their loved ones to understand their needs and ensure the right fit before they ever move in.
Sarita Pradhan
Sarita Pradhan is an experienced assisted living professional with more than 30 years of hands-on experience managing and serving seniors through her family-owned assisted living facilities. She brings a warm, compassionate, and personal approach to her work, treating every resident with the same kindness, dignity, and respect she would want for her own family.
Known for her energy, warmth, and approachable personality, Sarita enjoys spending time with residents and getting to know their families personally. She collaborates closely with caregivers, staff, and loved ones to make sure each resident feels safe, comfortable, respected, and truly at home.
For Sarita, assisted living is more than a business — it is about building relationships, creating a sense of family, and helping residents enjoy each day with dignity and happiness.
